Assessment Strategies

The specific assessment methods to be used in each module/unit of our courses will be explained soon after the module/unit has begun.  The methods used may include one or more of the following:

• submission of a written assignment
• written examination, presenting multiple choice, short answer and extended answer questions where appropriate
• submission of materials/items prepared for a set task, project or activity
• verbal presentation of prepared material to a given audience
• participation in an individual or group task, activity or project under observation by an assessor
• interview with an assessor(s)
• self-assessment in dialogue with a tutor or assessor
• peer assessment
